Rémi Oudin (born 18 November 1996) is a French footballer who plays as a striker for Ligue 1 club Bordeaux. He is one of the upcoming French talents in Ligue 1, scoring 10 goals and assisting 4 in his first season in the French top flight at the age of 22/23. This meant that Oudin finished top scorer in the Reims team, 3 goals ahead of another youngster Mathieu Cafaro. Oudin is a winger with a strong left-foot, this enables him to have a good passing game and great shooting capabilities.

Beginnings

Early Life & Career

Oudins' family lived in Rémering-lès-Puttelange, the Moselle department of France.

Rémi Oudin started playing football at the age of 10 with ASF93, association de Sarreguemines. He stayed with the club from the age of juniors until the U13, and played the biggest international tournaments. Oudin was then quickly scouted by the elite clubs in the region. In 2008, Oudin chose FC Metz where he would play for the next 3 years.

When his father moved to Reims, Oudin followed him and joined the Stade de Reims academy at the age of 15 in 2011. He progressed with the U17 and U19 and gradually unveiled solid statistics for an attacker. He was particularly good during the 2014-2015 season (22 goals & 17 assists). Congratulated with the title of French champions with the U19, playing with Jordan Siebatcheu, Oudin shows himself prolific after scoring against Lille in the semi-final and Nantes FC in the final.

During the 2015-2016 season, in the reserves of Stade de Reims, in CFA 2 where he becomes an example and leader, Rémi Oudin, scored 19 goals in 24 games. The young striker signed his first professional contract with the club in February 2016, on a three year deal starting on July 1.
