The Vanessa Show was a short lived talk show hosted by Vanessa Feltz, which was cancelled due to fake guests.[1] The show scandal of fake guests was exposed by The Mirror newspaper.[2]

Background

Feltz presented the ITV daytime television chat show, Vanessa, made by Anglia Television before moving to the BBC.[citation needed] A reported £2.7 million deal was made.[citation needed]

Cancellation

In 1999, The Vanessa Show suffered from bad publicity as some guests were alleged to have been actors.[3] Despite her having had no involvement in the booking of guests, Feltz was seen to be at fault as she knew about it,[citation needed] and the show was cancelled soon after.[3]
