Brian B. Boutwell is an American criminologist and associate professor of criminology and criminal justice at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. He also holds a secondary appointment as an associate professor in the Department of Epidemiology there.[1] He has conducted research on the intelligence quotient of psychopaths, finding that their average IQ is lower than the general population. This research has not been published in a peer-reviewed journal.[2]
