Richard Yator (born 6 April 1998)[1] is a Kenyan long-distance runner.

In 2019, he competed in the senior men's race at the 2019 IAAF World Cross Country Championships held in Aarhus, Denmark.[1][2] He finished in 13th place.[2] In 2019, he also represented Kenya at the 2019 African Games held in Rabat, Morocco.[3] He competed in the men's 5000 metres and he won the bronze medal.[3]
