Yasmin Wijnaldum (born 10 July 1998) is a Dutch fashion model.

Early life

Wijnaldum is of Dutch and Surinamese descent.[4] She was born and raised in Amsterdam and currently resides in New York City, which she considers to be her favorite city.[3]

Wijnaldum’s mother is fully Dutch and her father is Surinamese. She has an older brother and an older sister.

Career

Wijnaldum made her modeling debut during the 2014 Elite Model Look competition, where she represented the Netherlands during the world final and won a contract with Elite Model Management's Amsterdam branch.[5] After signing to Elite Worldwide and The Society, Wijnaldum made her runway debut at the Jean-Paul Gaultier Haute Couture F/W 15 show,[6] and walked exclusively for Prada during the S/S 16 show season, where she subsequently booked the S/S 16 campaign alongside Sasha Pivovarova and Natalia Vodianova.[7][8] Her first magazine cover was for I-D Magazine's Summer 2016 issue.[9] In 2018, she made her debut at the 2018 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.[10]

In 2017, Wijnaldum was chosen as one of the "11 Models You Need To Know" by Vogue Arabia.[11]

Wijnaldum is currently ranked as one of Models.com's Top 50 models,[12] Models.com's Top Sexiest models,[13] and the Business of Fashion's annual list of 500 people shaping the fashion industry.[14]

Personal life

Wijnaldum started a relationship with American rapper G-Eazy in January 2019. They broke up shortly after his drunk night with Megan Thee Stallion [15]
