Ternivka (Ukrainian: Тернівка [terˈn⁽ʲ⁾iu̯kɐ]) is a town in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast (province) of Ukraine. Administratively, it is incorporated within Ternivka municipality as a city of oblast significance. Population: 27,929 (2013 est.)[1]. Population was 29,226 (2001).
In April 1930 the village was the centre of a quickly defeated pro-Ukrainian anti-Soviet Union revolt.[2]
