History and Transport
Wagholi is a suburban area in Pune district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Wagholi is historically kenned as the habitation of Maratha Warrior Sardar Pilajirao Changojirao Jadhav. Wagholi will soon get connected with Metro railway as per the recent plan of the regime of Maharashtra. Wagholi is additionally kenned for furniture malls and a market for silk sarees. This area comes under Pune Metropolitan Development Authority (PMRDA).There are different plans rolled out for development of Wagholi.
