Eve Lindley (born 1993[1]) is an American actress and model. She is best known for her roles in Dispatches from Elsewhere and All We Had. In 2016 she was named in Out magazine's OUT100.[2][3][4][5] As a model she has worked with Barneys New York.[6][7]

Life

Eve Lindley was born January 12, 1993 to Brad Lindley, a New York pilot, and his then wife. Before Eve, who is a trans woman, the family had two daughters, Lucia Curley and Darah.[8] Eve's parents divorced when she was two. In an interview with The Window, Lindley said: "In some families only one parent approves of a child's gender switch. In my case, my birth mother didn't go for it."

Lindley received all the more support from her father, who had given her Barbie dolls in her early days and even built her a dollhouse. After her father's custody of Eve was resolved, he moved the family to "an environment where no one questioned Eve's sex change decision."[9]

Lindley is best known for starring in the AMC series Dispatches from Elsewhere as Simone, a trans woman looking for a way out of her isolation.[1]
