Yangsan Jin clan (Korean양산 진씨; Hanja梁山 陳氏) is one of the Korean clans, founded around the Yuan dynasty. Their Bon-gwan is in Liangshan County, Shandong, China. Their founder was Chen Pucai (陳普才 [ja]) who was originally from Mount Liang (Liangsan / Yangsan), China.

Founder Chen Pucai

Chen worked as a civil servant in Yuan dynasty but lived in retirement. After his demise, he was awarded Imperial Chancellor (Hanja: 丞相) and given the posthumous name, Wenlie (Hanja: 文烈) during Ming dynasty period.

Chen Pucai had a son named Chen Youliang, the first emperor of the Chen Han.

Chen Youliang then had a son named Chen Li, second emperor of Chen Han.

During the Yuan-Ming transition, Chen Li fled to Goryeo, where King Gongmin bestowed the title Nobi on Chen. Chen’s descendants made Liangshan County (Pucai's hometown) their Bon-gwan and founded the Yangsan Jin clan. One of Chen Li's (known) sons was Chen Mingshan (陈明善).[1][2]
