Harmony Heights School is a special education[3] federally funded school for girls diagnosed with emotional and behavioral disorders[4] in East Norwich, New York. The school was formerly the Mabel G. Fox School.[5]
Harmony Heights School has 70 students, ages 13 to 21,[4] diagnosed with emotional and behavioral disturbances.[6][7]
Harmony Heights School has a residential program.[4] Students enroll in either the day program or the residential program. In Harmony Heights' residential program, students ages 13 to 21 must abide by residential rules and move up through a four level behavior modification system.[8] Students are only allowed to go home every weekend if they reach and maintain a Level 3.[3] The lower the level, the fewer "privileges" are given to the student.[3]
