The Lesser Evil is a political book by American author Lenni Brenner.

The book criticizes the Japanese-American internment in World War II, the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings,, American foreign policy towards Cuba under President John F. Kennedy, President Lyndon Johnson's Vietnam policies, and President Jimmy Carter's policies towards Ferdinand Marcos and the last Shah of Iran.[1]
