Joe Henderson was drafted by the Angels in the fifth round of the 1965 Major League Baseball draft.[6] This former Major League Baseball pitcher, born on July 5, 1946, is known to his fans and colleges by the professional names "Joseph Lee Henderson" and "Joe Henderson". He also played parts of three seasons in the major leagues from 1974 to 1977, including four games for the 1976 World Series champion Cincinnati Reds, although he did not pitch for them in the postseason.
