The 2020 Asian Men's Youth Handball Championship will be 9th edition of the championship to be held from 24 October to 3 November 2020 at Almaty, Kazakhstan under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation (AHF).[1] It will be first time in history that the championship will be organised by Kazakhstan Handball Federation. It also acts as qualification tournament for the 2021 Men's Youth World Handball Championship to be held in Greece with 5 quota places.

On 23 April 2020, the AHF decided to postpone the championship due to COVID-19 pandemic.[2] Previously, the championship was scheduled to take place from 15 to 26 August 2020.[3]

Draw

The schedule of draw will be announced soon by the Asian Handball Federation.

Seeding

Teams were seeded according to the AHF COC regulations and rankings of the previous edition of the championship. Teams who had not participated in the previous edition were in Pot 4.
