The Serasa-class is a ship class of 2 light landing crafts. All 2 were laid down by Transfield Shipbuilding for the Royal Brunei Navy in the August 1996.[citation needed] Lead ship is KDB Serasa. Currently all 2 ships are in active service in support of Royal Brunei Land Forces.[1][2]Both ships are commisioned together on 7 May 1997 in Muara Naval Base, Brunei.[3] They are sometimes used to transport supplies, vehicles and personal to specific locations where they’re needed.[4]
