Zain Khan Durrani is an Indian actor and poet, known for his role in the film Kuchh Bheege Alfaaz.[1]

Early life and education

Zain was born in a suburb of Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. He went to Burn Hall School, later joined Delhi Public School[disambiguation needed] and graduated from Zakir Hussain College, Delhi University. He is actively involved in theatre acting and is a skilled poet as well.[2]

Career

He started off as an assistant director with Onir in a film called Shab, where he learned the technical part behind filmmaking.[3] After doing an audition for Kuchh Bheege Alfaaz, he was selected for a lead role with Onir as the director.[4] Zain also appeared as a radio jockey on the programme Lamhey with Zain on Big 92.7 FM.[5]. He has starred in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's film, Shikara (2020 film).
