Camille Cordahi[a] (Arabic: كميل قرداحي) was a Lebanese footballer who played as a forward. He is the Lebanon national team's first official goalscorer, scoring his side's lone goal in a friendly game against Mandatory Palestine in 1940.

Club career

Cordahi played for Sika Club in 1935, at the inaugural game of the Beirut Municipal Stadium, alongside teammate Joseph Nalbandian.[1] He played for Sagesse in 1946,[2] before joining Racing Beirut in 1954, winning the Lebanese Premier League during the 1964–65 season.[1]

International career

In 1940 the forward took part in Lebanon's first international match, against Mandatory Palestine. He scored Lebanon's lone goal of the match,[3] assisted by Muhieddine Jaroudi of Hilmi Sports,[4] becoming his country's first international goalscorer.[5] In 1946 Cordahi also played for Beirut XI, Beirut's select team.[2]

Managerial career

On 18 January 1971, Cordahi was nominated sporting director of Racing Beirut by the club's General Assembly.[6]
