RPN Arangkada Balita (lit. RPN Acceleration News, formerly known as RPN Arangkada Xtra Balita or AXB) is a flagship weekday afternoon newscast developed and produced by Radio Philippines Network from 2000 to 2006 anchored by Angelique Lazo.

Its reportorial teams are tasked to gather news from every major beat in the Greater Manila Area as well as nearby provinces.

Airing history

As Arangkada Xtra Balita

AXB was launched as part of RPN News Force, the named used of RPN News and Public Affairs as part of its news programming lineup in year 2000. It was first aired as an afternoon newscast replacing Newswatch Evening Cast, that also switched their respective formats in different timeslot. The program was initially anchored by Rolly Lakay Gonzalo and Cielo Villaluna. In August 10, 2001, Gonzalo he transfer to NBN-4 (now PTV-4) and Villaluna she transfer to RJTV-29 were replaced by Angelique Lazo and Jay Esteban.

As Arangkada Balita

In 2004, as RPN expand its program partnership with Solar through the Prime Shift block, the newscast was moved to noontime slot and dropped the "Xtra" brand, and Lazo went solo in this newscast.

On April 14, 2006, Arangkada Balita aired its final broadcast to give way for RPN Action News, which is aired however in the late afternoon slot.
