Alappiranthan is a main village in the Aranthangi Taluk of Pudukkottai district,[1] Tamil Nadu, India.

Demographics

As per the 2001 census, Alapiranthan had a total population of 3254[2] with 1537 males and 1717 females. Out of the total population 2000 people were literate.
