"Drip" is a song recorded by American-South Korean rapper and singer Jessi featuring American rapper Jay Park. It was released as a digital single on November 2, 2019, by P Nation and later included in her second extended play Nuna (2020).

Composition

The song was written by Jessi, Jay Park and JohnJohn. It was produced by Jessi, JohnJohn and CUZD and arranged by the latter two.[1]

Background and release

On October 28, 2019, P Nation announced that the singer would release a new digital single titled "Drip" featuring Jay Park on November 1 at 6 p.m. KST. This is her first song in almost a month and will showcase her "own style and feeling". The two artists already collaborated in the past, but the release generated high expectations.[2]

The song was released as a digital single on November 1, 2019, through several music portals, including MelOn and Apple Music.[3][4]

Commercial performance

The song peaked at number 16 on the US World Digital Song Sales for the week dated November 16, 2019, marking her fourth entry on the chart and fourth Top 20 single.[5]
