Sarangadhara is a 1958 Tamil-language film directed by V. S. Raghavan of Revathi Studios for Minerva Pictures. The film features Sivaji Ganesan for his 50th film and P. Bhanumathi in lead roles. It has musical score by G. Ramanathan and was released on 15 August 1958.[2] The Telugu version of the same name was released in 1957.[3]

Soundtrack

The music was composed by G. Ramanathan.[4] Lyrics were by A. Maruthakasi.[5] The song "Vasantha Mullai" became hugely popular was later remixed by Mani Sharma for Pokkiri (2007).[6] The song is set in Charukesi raga.[7][8]

A Kriti Yaedhukkithanai modi than (Raga: Suruti) by Marimutha Pillai was included in the film for a dance by Kumari Kamala.
