Bremen Vier (English: Bremen Four) is a radio station from Radio Bremen for the city of Bremen and Bremerhaven in Bremen; it plays mostly pop music and has been operating for thirty years.[1]
History
The first broadcast by Bremen Four was on 1 December 1986 at 9:05 a.m. The first song was Pop Muzik from M and the first host was Jürgen Büsselberg.
In December 2007 the company moved to a new radio station. The last track played was again Pop Muzik, the last host was Axel P. Sommerfeld.
The first Mornigshow was in April 1989 „Slip“, in the first years were the program of Hansawelle was taken over by 9 am. Now since January 2009 there with four begins a new morning show, which is being hosted by Roland Kanwicher and Olaf Rathje alternating with Jens-Uwe Krause and Tina Padberg. 1999 and 2008 was the morning show Der Dicke und der Dünne (eng. The Fat and the Lean) and moderated alternately by Krause and Marcus Rudolph.

Bremen Vier broadcasts from 5 am to 1 am. Overnights, Bremen Vier simulcasts the ARD "Popnacht" ("Pop night") heard on several other ARD radio programs.
