Zalmay, Zalmai, Zalmie, or Zalmeh is a Pashtun male given name found amongst the Pashtuns of Pakistan and Afghanistan. Its meaning is loosely translated as "youth" or "young man". In Afghanistan, the name appears amongst non-Pashtuns as well.
