Palaivana Paravaigal (lit.'Desert Birds') is a 1990 Tamil language crime film directed by Senthilnathan. The film features Sarath Kumar, Anandaraj, newcomer Udhayan and newcomer Dharini in lead roles. The film, produced by K. S. Srinivasan and K. S. Sivaraman, had musical score by newcomer Ilayagangai and was released on 15 September 1990.[1][2][3][4]

Plot

Mamu (Sarath Kumar) and Machi (Anandaraj), two orphans and heartless criminals, are sentenced to the death penalty. Raja (Udhayan), their cellmate, is an innocent youth who is in love with Kaveri (Dharini). Mamu and Machi decide to save Raja and they go to his village before their death sentence.
