Shivaji Surathkal also known as Shivaji Surathkal: The Case of Ranagiri Rahasya is a 2020 mystery thriller Kannada language film written and directed by Akash Srivatsa, produced by Anup Gowda, Reka KN, and starring Ramesh Aravind, Radhika Narayan. The film is formers 101th movie.[2] The plot revolves around murder mystery beginning in Ranagiri. After success of film, makers decide to create franchise and have planned to produce a sequel of the film.[3][4]
Plot
The movie is about Shivaji Surathkal (Ramesh Aravind), a police officer who has been assigned to investigate the murder mystery of Roshan, son of State Home minister. He is accompanied by Govind a police constable, visits the resort. He happened to meet a group of people at the resort. Meanwhile, he is haunted by Janani’s (Radhika Narayan) unnatural death. He comes across a variety of stories about the resort and its surroundings. Finally, he succeeds to nab the criminals involved in the murder and also those responsible for his wife’s death.
