Linda MacDonald (activist)

Linda MacDonald is a grass roots activist against Non-State Torture (NST), a gender-based human rights violation and crime, born in Charlottetown, P.E.I, Canada.[1][2]

She is a registered nurse in Nova Scotia, Canada and the Co-Founder of Persons Against Non-State Torture- a human rights advocacy campaign.[3][2] [4][5]McDonald as a professional nurse worked at hospitals, public health, and as care coordinator with home care.[6] She is an educator, researcher, author and a member of ACUNS.[1][7]

McDonald was featured on feminist Robin Morgan's radio show WMC Live.[1][6] She works with Jeanne Sarson a human right activists for girls and women at NST.[8]
