Zhaleo Rio is a Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party politician from Nagaland. He has been elected in Nagaland Legislative Assembly election in 2013 and 2018 from Ghaspani II constituency as candidate of Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party. He was deputy speaker of Nagaland Legislative Assembly from 2018 to 2019 before been named as an advisor to Chief Ministers of Nagaland Neiphiu Rio and allocated three department's, they are Sericulture, Excise and Minority Affairs - to him . He is brother of Chief Ministers of Nagaland Neiphiu Rio.[1][2][3][4]
