Anosh Ekka

Anosh Ekka is a Jharkhand Party politician and a member of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. He was arrested in 2014 in connection with a murder case.[1] He was Cabnet Minister In Jharkhand government time period 2005 to 2008.

On 4 July 2018, Ekka was sentenced to life in prison in relation to the murder case.[2]

On 23 April 2020, A special CBI court in Ranchi on Tuesday sentenced former Jharkhand Minister Anosh Ekka, his brother, wife and four other relatives to seven years imprisonment each in connection with a disproportionate assets case. Special CBI judge also imposed Rs 50 lakh fine each.[3]
