Maqdisi (Arabic: مقدسي) is an Arabic nisba referring to a Jerusalemite. It is derived from Bayt al-Maqdis, an Arabic name of Jerusalem, by way of the Hebrew Beit HaMikdash, the Temple. Today, the common Arabic name of Jerusalem is Al-Quds.
