Synonyms[1]

Euathlus is a genus of South American tarantulas that was first described by Anton Ausserer in 1875.[3] It is a senior synonym of Paraphysa,[2] and was formerly considered a senior synonym of Brachypelma,[4] but this was later rejected.[5]

As of March 2020 it contains ten species, found in Argentina and Chile:[1]
