White Stadium is a 10,000 seat facility located in Franklin Park, Boston that was constructed between 1945 and 1949 for a cost of $2 million. It opened in 1949 with a packed stadium during a game between Boston Latin School and Roxbury Memorial High School. During its existence, it has played host to a rally by the Black Panther Party in 1969, as well as a soul concert in 1974.[1]
