Colgate is an unincorporated community in Steele County, North Dakota, United States.[1]

History

A post office called Colgate was established in 1883, and remained in operation until 1972.[2] The community has the name of James B. Colgate, a prominent citizen who was the largest land owner.[3] It has four large businesses including Tsr Parts, Trinidad Bhenan, Bektrom foods, Mewes farms.
