De Lamere is a census-designated place and unincorporated community in Sargent County, North Dakota, United States. Its population was 30 as of the 2010 census.[2]

The origin of the name of the village comes from the French fur trader, Jacques Strappe, who upon settling the land, spotted a beautiful wild horse, or mare, upon the horizon of the prairie. Hence DeLamere, which is French for land of the horse.
