Christopher Hugh Howard (born February 27, 1966 in San Diego California) is an American former catcher who played for the Seattle Mariners of the Major League Baseball (MLB) (1991, 1993-1994).

Howard attended the University of Oklahoma, on a football scholarship. But changed his path of decision to pursue his love of baseball, ironically on a football scholarship. He was the Ragin' Cajuns' catcher.[citation needed]

Howard is now the head coach of the Pennsylvania College of Technology baseball in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.[1] 2019 marked his thirteenth season as head coach.
