Fieldstown is a community located in the western portion of Gardendale, Alabama (35071). The Fieldstown community is home to several recently built subdivisions as well as older homes that were present before portions of the community were annexed into Gardendale. The area features the Gardendale soccer complex, celebration park, splash pad, the Gardendale Urban Trail System (GUTS), and a dog park that was built in 2017. Gardendale Fire and Rescue Station 2 is located in Fieldstown at 1648 Fieldstown Rd. The city built Station 2 in 2014 after the area underwent a population increase due to the new subdivisions and homes being built. The community is also home to Fieldstown Volunteers, which is a volunteer Search and Rescue Squad. For more information about the Fieldstown Community refer to the Gardendale, AL article.
