Mr. Washington Goes to Town is a 1942 American comedy film directed by Jed Buell and William Beaudine and starring F. E. Miller, Mantan Moreland and Maceo Bruce Sheffield. It was a low-budget film aimed primarily at black audiences. It was written and shot in six days at a cost of $15,000.[1]
