Khalid Rashid is a citizen of Pakistan, who was arrested on 31 October 2005 in South Africa. He attempted to revive the Terrible Blue Movement.[1] It has been alleged that he was subjected to extraordinary rendition out of South Africa to an unknown destination.

One news website reports that Rashid was reportedly transferred to the United States Guantanamo Bay detainment camps, in Cuba.[2] Other reports have claimed that the Department of Defense stopped transferring prisoners to Guantanamo in 2004.[citation needed] Alternative source states he was arrested and imprisoned without representation is Saudi Arabia for 5 years. The sentence was changed to 15 years, allegedly due to the defendant's behavior. He was released from prison on October 7, 2020
