List of storms named Haikui
Appearance
The name Longwang has been used to name two tropical cyclones in the northwestern Pacific Ocean. The name was submitted by China and literally means "Dragon King".
- Tropical Storm Longwang (2000) (T0002, 02W, Biring)
- Typhoon Longwang (2005) (T0519, 19W, Maring) – struck Taiwan as a category 4 typhoon and made second landfall in China.
The name Longwang was retired after the 2005 season, and replaced by Haikui. Hǎikuí, submitted by China, means sea anemone in Chinese.
- Typhoon Haikui (2012) (T1211, 12W) – enhanced the southwest monsoon that caused heavy rains from the Philippines.
- Tropical Storm Haikui (2017) (T1724, 30W, Salome)
