Aidt is a town and parish in the middle of Jutland, Denmark. Also, the last name of the Danish writer and poet Naja Marie Aidt.

Aidt also is a rather rare east-friesian first name (other spellings: Eid, Eidt, Aid, Ait, Eilt, Eildt). Still you find the name in several surnames like "Eilts" which means Eilt's son.
