The name Rananim has been used for one tropical cyclone in the western north Pacific Ocean. The name was contributed by the Micronesia and means "hello" in Chuukese language.

  • Typhoon Rananim (2004) (T0413, 16W, Karen) – a typhoon that hit eastern China during August 2004.

Due to massive damage, the name Rananim has been retired by the WMO on 2004. The name was replaced by Fanapi.

For the second time in a name, the name Fanapi was later retired during 2010. The name was replaced by Rai, which is a group of stone relics in Micronesia.
