Alamgir Muhammad Serajuddin (born: December 1, 1937) is a Bangladeshi academic. He served as the 8th Vice-Chancellor of the University of Chittagong.[1] In 2017, he was awarded Ekushey Padak by the Government of Bangladesh in the education category.[2]

Early life

He was born in December 1, 1937 in Chittagong district under Satkania Upazila at Kanchana Union.

Career

Serajuddin served as a faculty member of the Department of History at the University of Chittagong. In 2012, he was made Professor Emeritus of the same university.[3]
