Collinstown (from Irish Baile Choilín[1]) is a townland in Fingal north of Dublin in Ireland. It is in the civil parish of Santry, barony of Coolock, County Dublin.[1] The townland is entirely within the perimeter of Dublin Airport, which grew out of Collinstown Aerodrome, originally a Royal Air Force station, which in the Irish War of Independence became Collinstown Camp for internment of Irish republicans.[2]
