Iago López Marra[a] (born 7 April 1990 in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia) is a Spanish sailor.[1]

He started sailing in his hometown of Portosín when he was twelve years old. He moved to Santander, Spain and team up with Diego Botín. They went to 2016 Summer Olympics finishing in 9th place.[2] They are qualified for 2020 Summer Olympics. With Botín, he won a silver medal in the 49er World Championships 2020, 2x49er & 49er FX European Championships (2016 and 2018) and a Bronze medal in the 2020 European Championships [3]

He is a team member for SailGP team Esp.[4]

Iago studied Marine engineer in the University of Cantabria
