Nordic International Film Festival is an annual film festival founded in 2014, held in New York City, showcasing Nordic and international films at Roxy Cinema in the Roxy Hotel in Tribeca, New York.[1]

The festival is founded and run by Festival Director Johan Matton and Creative Director Linnea Larsdotter.[2]The festival is now backed by all Nordic Consulates and considered the main Nordic film festival outside of Scandinavia.[3][4]

The festival has over 2000 visitors annually and works as a Nordic Market for US and Scandinavian filmmakers and producers to meet and collaborate.

Nordic International Film Festival is also known as "NIFF" and screen only world and east coast premiers. [5]

Nordic International Film Festival is a festival that works towards gender equality with a higher percentage of female filmmakers than any other film festival in the world. [6] [7]
