Pioneer Springs Community School is a charter school in the Charlotte metropolitan area, North Carolina, United States.[1]

Each year, the school is expected to grow by a consecutive grade until 2023, when the final 12th grade will be added.

Founding

The school was founded in 2012 as a small, low-tuition, private school. The school was then converted to a public charter school in 2014.

Pioneer Springs Community School Present

In the 2019-2020 school year, Pioneer Springs Community School had 322 students from kindergarten, to the eighth grade.[2] The average class size is 22, resulting in a 11:1 student to teacher ratio enabling a close-knit school family community.[3]
