She remains best known for her roles in Australian soap opera, particularly her stint as Matron Rosemary Prior Elliot in the television series A Country Practice in 1991 until 1993 (after two cameo roles in 1985 and 1990) and Neighbours as Ruby Dwyer in 2003. Other television parts included Skyways, I Can Jump Puddles, The Flying Doctors, G.P., Blue Heelers and The Secret Life of Us. She appeared in the first season of Neighbours in a cameo as Marcia Taylor and after playing the longer role of Ruby Dwyer in 2002 and 2003, she returned again to Neighbours for guest stints in 2008 and 2009 as "Hilda Jones" and "Jill Smith".
