Susana Dosamantes (Spanish pronunciation: [suˈsana ðosaˈmantes];[1] born María del Perpetuo Socorro Guadalupe Susana Dosamantes Rul Riestra on January 9, 1948, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico) is a Mexican actress.
Personal life
She is the mother of Mexican pop diva Paulina Rubio,[2] and has worked in around 50 movies and TV series, including a number of telenovelas (Spanish-language soap operas). She starred in the films Rio Lobo (1970), Day of the Assassin (1979) and Hit Man (1982), and worked in the telenovela El Juramento.[3]
