Mark Skidmore (economist)

Mark Skidmore is an American economist who holds the Morris Chair in State and Local Government Finance and Policy at Michigan State University.[1] Skidmore completed his undergraduate education at the University of Washington and received a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Colorado in 1994 for his dissertation "State Responses to Fiscal Stress".[1] He is the co-editor of the Journal of Urban Affairs.[2]
