Eraharam is a village in Kumbakonam taluk, Thanjavur district, Tamil Nadu.

Eraharam is locally known as eragaram. It has a old Murugan temple which is said to be the earlier place where Swamimalai murugan was there. The temple is known as Adhi Swaminadha Swami temple.


The main profession for the people in this village is Agriculture. The people in this village do fishing as their hobby. The road connections to this village is very less.

This village has a bus stop for the transport facility . But the population of the village is reduced from 1930 (2001 census) to 1222 in 2011 (2011 census). The drastic reduction of population is due to the population is moving from villages to town.

The water resources are ground water, tap water, canal water and water from chakara pond

As per the 2001 census, Eraharam had a population of 1930 with 924 males and 1006 females. The sex ratio was 1089 and the literacy rate, 70.16.
