Ana Renovica is a serial entrepreneur, spiritual teacher and film producer stationed in Novi Sad, Serbia.

Renovica co-owns a film production company 888 Films based in Los Angeles and Serbia, where she produces and develops films, shorts, commercials, and television shows for the United States and Europe. She is the youngest producer in Serbia to have worked with Louis Gossett Jr, producing the Cannes exhibited film 10 Minutes.[1] She is the CEO of 888 Films in Serbia, focusing on development and distribution of films in the United States, Europe and abroad.[2]

Since 2020 she started her worldwide brand as a spiritual teacher that helps people find and fulfill their life purpose and build their legacy while maintaining their spiritual self. Her brand is called Matrix Empress and she is teaching by the program of Institution for Life Development - Parallel Knowledge, that she is a part of.

Early life

Renovica was born in Cetinje, Montenegro[citation needed] and spent her childhood living by the seaside in Baošići, Montenegro, where her father Zoran Renovica, mother Svjetlana Renovica, and sister Anđela Renovica gave her her first lessons about love, life, and happiness. She went to elementary school in both Baošići, Montenegro, and Novi Sad, Serbia, and went to the Gymnasium Jovan Jovanović Zmaj where she showed deep interest in philosophy and rhetoric and won many international awards for it. She studied film production and enrolled in the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad.

Since one part of her family lived in California, she has established a deep connection to the industry and people in the US from a very young age.

Career

At the age of nineteen, Renovica met Serbian-American writer and director Sasha Knezev, who was looking to develop films in Serbia.[3] Knezev was beginning post-production on the highly acclaimed[citation needed] film franchise series American Addict, about prescription drug abuse in the United States. Renovica helped Knezev organize a post-production crew. This eventually led to a business partnership that inspired Renovica to open up her very own production company, 888 Films, while still finishing her education at her university.

In 2012, American Addict[4] was nominated for Best Documentary Film at the acclaimed Seattle International Film Festival. American Addict was also rated the second best documentary on Netflix by Mic on its list of '11 Netflix Documentaries That Will Change The Way You Think About Drugs', ranking only below 2012 Sundance Grand Jury Prize Winner ‘The House I Live In’.[5]

American Addict was broadcast in Spain on national television on RTVE, Spain's largest broadcaster. To date it has been viewed in over 40 countries.[6]

In 2015, American actress Jenna Elfman presented American Addict with an Award for Social Activism.

Released in 2016, American Addict 2: The Big Lie[7] exposes the politics of the pharmaceutical industry even deeper. Matthew Perry, Jonathan Davis, Ron Paul] and Dennis Kucinich contribute to this gripping sequel.[8]

She has also produced the short film Cassandra Awakens' in 2016, which deals with the delicate theme of children's cancer.[citation needed]

Her documentary Lex Homeless, directed by Zoran Tairović is set to be released in 2021 and is a document about poverty and the issue of power and sovereignty in the mentality of the ego-based societies that still exist on planet Earth, to this day.

Her documentary So, Where the Hell Is My Prince Charming?, directed by Sonja Rakić set to be released in 2022 deals with the subject of finding love for ourselves.
