Shinya Kayama (嘉弥真 新也, Kayama Shinya, born November 23, 1989 in Ishigaki, Okinawa, Japan) is a professional Japanese baseball player. He plays pitcher for the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks.

Professional career

In 2011 NPB draft [jp], Fukuoka Softbank Hawks selected Kayama in the fifth round.[1]

On October 24, 2019, he was selected as the Japan national baseball team in the 2019 WBSC Premier12. [2]
